HR Business Partners is a strategic HR consulting firm led by founder Karen Gureghian and supported by a dedicated team of experienced HR professionals who work behind the scenes to serve clients with depth, consistency, and expertise. Together, the HRBP team delivers fractional HR support across critical areas including policy development, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and HR infrastructure.
Karen brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience working with public and private organizations throughout the Twin Cities. As a trusted business partner, she collaborates directly with company owners and presidents while leveraging her team to ensure clients receive comprehensive, timely, and scalable HR support.
A respected HR leader, Karen is a long-standing member of SHRM and has held multiple leadership roles with the SHRM Minnesota State Council and HR Professionals of Minnesota, including Secretary, Membership Director, President, and Professional Development Co-Chair. She holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Karen also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Metropolitan State University, teaching HR courses. She is certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SCP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHRi).
